Because we filmed it over like a long weekend and we did two shows a night at the Cellar.
And so he's got this line when he says... They're talking about like in memoriam, you know, people we lost.
And they talk about Stephen Hawking.
Yeah, Steve Hawking, the great astrophysicist, we lost him.
Jeff says that and Dave says, he says, yeah, I knew something happened because my printer stopped working.
And for some reason, like this joke makes people so many people laughed at this joke because it's so insanely like impulsive.
I knew Stephen Hawking died because my printer stopped working.
And the next night he did a different version of it where he said, oh, because my computer stopped working and it got no laughs at all.
And just being able to see the spontaneity and the unlocked quality of Dave's mind.
The tweaking of the joke.
But also just the freedom, which maybe some of that for some people comes with being stoned.
But I see like the feeling, like in your comedy special, the feeling that it's coming in the moment, even though I know a lot of those things are things that you've been thinking about talking about and honing over a lot of years.
It's the moment when it feels like it's coming naturally.
That's where like the biggest laughs are.
It's also like where the biggest connection, the biggest human connection is.
