Well, first of all, I think the one thing that people aren't talking about enough is the bad uh laws governing the these trials in Massachusetts.
Virtually everywhere, if you say that you were uh mentally ill and therefore not guilty.
The burden of proof shifts to you, but not in Massachusetts.
In Massachusetts, their definition of mental illness is very vague.
It's not the McNaughton rule, it's not that you didn't know what kind of act you were committing or whether it was right or wrong.
It's basically that you were a little confused, and the burden of proof stays on the prosecutor, which is absurd.
The prosecution has to prove that you were mentally ill.
So I agree with you basically on the fact, Ben, I I wouldn't kill her.
Put her away for life.
I think the thing that she did requires an act of justice.
I don't think she was beyond.
I mean, I'm still living by the Monoton rule.
I still believe that you have to not know the difference between right or wrong or the actual situation that you're in.
