It's it happens again.
and again.
This is why I think the Declaration is so important.
The Declaration of Independence is so important, because it actually establishes a God that we believe in, a God who installs on us the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which is different.
You know, that's that's different.
Not every religion actually gives you those rights, endows you with those rights.
And I don't think that we have any business uh taking that out of um out of schools.
I don't think we have any business taking the Bible out of schools because that's where that thought comes from.
comes from.
I don't think we have any business taking the Christ the history of Christianity and its formative uh value in the society out of schools.
And I think those are fights we should definitely be fighting.
We should be fighting them in the courts.
We should be fighting them, you know, we should be getting sued.
Our schools should be getting sued for bringing the Bibles into class.
Now I see the flaws in the picture.
That's it.
I got a letter from somebody complaining that
that they had turned Odysseus into a weepy girl man.
So I sent him the passage in Homer where he weeps like a woman.
And I said, you know, you think this is an argument between good people and bad people, but it's really an argument between people who know what they're talking about and people who have no idea what they're talking about.
