And I get that.
I actually understand.
If I were in his shoes, I'd probably feel something like that.
But here's the thing.
The reason why
It's important, even for those of us who support Trump and have supported a lot of the things that he's done, the reason why it's important for us to say it's not good enough, like, yeah, be kind of ungrateful about it, because you know what?
Being grateful to politicians, that's not part of the arrangement.
We're not called upon to have an attitude of humility and gratitude before our great politicians who run the country.
It's actually supposed to be public servant.
Like that's the word we use for these people.
That's not what the relationship has been anytime in recent history, but that's what it's supposed to be.
Where actually you're our servant, you work for us.
That's what is supposed to set our system apart from any other systems that have existed.
And so number one, it's not enough for us to just say, oh, I'm grateful for that, at least you did something.
But number two,
It's because we recognize that Trump is willing to do things that no other president is willing to do.
That is why we cannot.
That's why we expect him.
Right.
That's why we cannot be satisfied.
