I keep I keep saying this on my show all the time because it's so old fashioned and yet so true.
Manners actually matter.
You know, it's good manners.
You can get very far with good manners and determination just as far, if not further than you can get with determination and bad manners.
And so, as always, with all of us, you know, Trump's flaws and his strengths are the same.
And one of his great strengths is the fact that he's willing to break the rules.
He's willing to go in to be the bull in the China shop.
He's willing to say, oh, yeah, we've done this this way for 50 years.
It's not working.
Let's stop.
That is a wonderful trait that Donald Trump has that makes him who he is.
But by the same token, he does the same thing with the way he treats people.
You know, yeah, usually you don't fire people like in public.
On the air, no, that's the way I'm going to do it.
Usually you don't call the Supreme Court, say they're in the pay of foreign powers, you have some respect for the law.
No, I'm not going to do that.
So that same kind of unbridled feeling that he brings to his substance, which is great, he brings to his style, which is not so great.
That might improve the state of the union.
Oh, they have sunk in the State of the Union.
I know, they're really, really scraping the bottom of the barrel, truly scraping the bottom of the barrel.
