In Tasklit, we hook up to thousands of services, and it's not practical for us to like build search for all of those things.

And even if we tried to say, okay, we do for a f you know the few of the most common ones, I don't think it scales in any reasonable way.

So I think our our only reasonable strategy with Tasklit is to say, well, we're gonna rely on their existing search stuff.

And I'm optimistic of uh two things.

One is that the models will keep getting better using those existing traditional search stacks.

And the other is that the services themselves will

over time build good semantic search.

Like Gmail will eventually, I think, build a good semantic search API that we can use.

Um at which point the semantic search in in shortwave is, you know, we can maybe throw that infrastructure away and save some money.

Um so I think that's our bet.

Um I do think I'm not saying that your startups here aren't potentially going to be awesome and and and be very successful.

I do think there's lots of opportunity in AI search.

Uh I just don't think it's the right bet for for us to pick it.

So so yeah, so this is this is an interesting story.

When we so in shortwave I think we have like

10 integrations or so, something like that.

And when we started doing tasks that we thought, okay, we'll start the same way.

We'll pick the top ten most commonly used ones and we'll focus on those use cases, you know, email and notion and the sauna and stuff like that.

Um and we started going down this path, and my co-founder said, hey, we should try hooking up one of these integration platforms.

And we hooked up Pipe Dream.
