And I just thought, you know, this is politics at its best.
It's not a sort of cynical uni party getting together.
We're all on the same side, really, because they really disagree.
But all around the chamber, I thought there was a genuine...
degree of sort of sadness and they wanted him to go with dignity and whatever his failures to feel that he had been a man respected for why he was in politics.
And by the way, he made some very good jokes.
So overall, I enjoyed it.
Well, I have been pretty disobliging now for quite a few months, probably six months or so.
