And that's just how I talked all the time.

But when you see your child at their happiest when they get their ears pierced or wear a tiara or put on a dress and go to the Barbie movie, and you're like, my child is flourishing.
That's not some other mental health thing.
Flourishing is not a sign of struggling mental health.
It's like, okay, it's eight hours away.
That's what we'll do.
So it wasn't a question of whether we were going to do it.
It was just how hard is it going to be?
So I drove Allie up for her first appointment at the clinic at UVA.
