And they voted in their coaching staff meeting who was going to guard Donovan Mitchell.
And they voted six to five on that Dort was going to guard Donovan.
And I thought it was very interesting.
I even asked some of the players in the locker room, like, is that the way you would have voted?
And they said, no, no, I would not have voted that way.
They would have voted Dort on Harden, which makes more sense.
We've seen a lot of that.
That is how Dort got his career started, was playing for the Thunder, guarding James Harden in the bubble against the Houston Rockets.
And so I probably would have voted that way, too.
He mentioned, you know, a couple of their coaches like that were like the deciding votes in this one.
It was it was a really cool anecdote.
Proves it is absolutely true.
And it's just funny that that's how they decided that.
But I mean, the real kind of answer to that question is like who should guard who is there's not really a bad answer here, guys.
If you have two of the best guard defenders in the league, I think it would have been just fine the other way around.
But I think it is interesting that they had 11 of their coaches vote on who they thought should be the primary defender.
And they matched them minute for minute.
