What was interesting, maybe this is written in the the original Green Lantern, is this, at least this is what I was trying I was getting from it, is that black parents in America have to raise their kids with a level of fearlessness given the circumstances that are put in front of them, especially when this comic book is written, I don't know how long ago, decades ago, right?
So what I thought was what they're trying to say is what a unique advantage to being.

Like I thought the messaging is we gotta raise our kids to be fucking fearless superheroes.
And now you're instilling all this confidence in young black kids when they're reading this fucking comic book and they're like, holy shit, like this is No, that's true.

mean And what I thought they did in the show was they said there was one point where like the alien says to the mom, like, uh, what do you mean uh he's black, he has to be, he has to be afraid?
And the mom's like, Well, it's different for us here.
And then the mom talks to the dad and goes,

Like because the message, the message is already there without saying it.

And it's like if you don't say it, you actually let the internet fodder go, yo, what they're trying to say is this.
