We didn't have much growing up.
Which is fine.
I wasn't one of those kids that pouted over not getting enough gifts.
But I think my mom always felt bad about not being able to afford more.
I think this story was probably more for her than me.
Helped remind herself that it's the act that matters, not the quality of the gift.

And if I made the wrong choice, then was it worth it?
Was it worth not being there?
