Well it's tough.
It's it's tough for my people.
I mean if you think about something costs ten dollars and uh and a twenty percent tariff is put on it, people are now gonna pay twelve dollars.
You know, many people voted for Donald Trump, as we can now see from the data, because he said he was gonna lower the price of things.
Well tariffs aren't going to do that.
And the last time President Trump was in office, uh his tariffs on the EU led to a retaliatory tariff on Kentucky bourbon, which uh hurt the industry significantly.
Uh, could have cost us a lot of jobs if it wasn't ultimately undone by Gina Raimondo, our commerce uh cabinet secretary.
So I have some real concerns, uh, but I hope that as they sit down and they think through this, that they are at least
Uh surgical and targeted and and not what we're hearing some of uh all across the board.
Raising prices on America right now after the promises made in this election.
Uh, that really that'd really hurt people, especially with a lot of people out there uh hurting already.
Uh it's just amazing.
Uh the apparently there is no lie too big for Donald Trump and J.D.
Vance.
I mean, when you ask him about the last uh election, all you're asking him to do is admit reality.
And we deserve to have a vice president who believes in democracy and can say, yes, Donald Trump lost the last election, uh, and now we're running in this election.
And then the
Lies on FEMA and disaster response.
Listen, in Kentucky, we went through our worst tornado disaster and our worst flood disaster in our history.
And I didn't have to deal with any of the shenanigans that Donald Trump is putting out right now.
