And being a person who can win in a Trump plus 31 state, I think I offer something to the conversation.

We need to make sure that we have a candidate that can relate to people, that can bring more people on board.

And what I want most is for my kids and one day grandkids to have the same stability in this United States that I did growing up.

I think it'll be different for everyone.

Certainly, I'm not going to sit down and take any type of action until I'm done being DGA chair in late December.

And then I'm going to celebrate Christmas with my family.

And then we'll figure it out.

Well, I think the calendar is going to create a candidate that can be competitive in the South, that can be competitive in the Midwest, that can ultimately create the type of appeal that reaches all Americans because all Americans are struggling with the same general issues.

I will say having two Southern states,

I'm happy that the DNC recognizes that the South was left out, was underfunded, and was sometimes even looked down upon by our party.

But look at how we scrapped back.

We have three Southern Democratic governors.

Thanks to Georgia, we have two Southern Democratic U.S.

senators, and Roy Cooper is about to be another.

Well, you know, we've got different parts of Kentucky that consider themselves different things.

I'm from Lexington, which is certainly Southern.

I lived in Louisville for a long time, which probably considers itself Midwestern.

Typically, I try to be whichever one will get us the best grant from the federal government or anywhere else.

I will say I consider myself southern.

But, you know, different folks across our state may have different ideas.
