Yeah, it was very important.

I think we've had a tough run.

We needed the three points and a clean sheet and that's exactly what we got.

It was fantastic.

The fans were great.

We needed a big boost and the fans came out roaring and they were behind us all the way and we gave them a good performance and got the win.

I mean, we knew they were going to play out the back and play slow and try and break us down.

But I think we were just determined to let them come to us and us, you know, try and break them down through that.

Yeah, we had three up top, obviously, me in the middle, and we've got obviously Chicha and Meku up here, so the balls to me were decent enough for the lads to get on the end of them, to get in behind, and that's what the aim was, to try and play the long ball to me and get the lads in behind.

Yeah, you know, I think the team's a great team.

The gaff has brought some great players in and when everyone's fit, it's going to be a battle for the XI.

Starting XI, you know, it's a great team.

So it's going to be a pleasure to play with the lads.

Yeah, well, tomorrow I'll probably be in bits.

I'm all right at the minute, I think.

The adrenaline's still going, but, yeah, I'll be in the ice chamber tomorrow all day, probably.

Yeah, over the moon, you know, I think it's been disappointing to read a few things that's been going on.

But all the lads are behind him and it's a great win tonight.

Obviously, for his birthday as well, it's even better.
