There's not much logic for the Irish system because all the players have to tic-tac between completely different systems.
But as a standalone decision, Leinster have been innovative over the years in terms of coaches they brought in.
They innovated when they brought in Cheka.
They innovated when they brought in Schmidt.
They innovated with Matt O'Connor.
They innovated with Stuart Lancaster.
They innovated again with Nina Barr.
But the crucial misstep is they are completely and utterly overburdened
by their attacking system layered in on top of it.
And what rings true is watching them run themselves into the ground heroically
in terms of what they're prepared to do physically, top-level sport requires repeat bouts of high-intensity activity.
But they're doing that more than anyone else all the time.

To me, there's a rigidity in Irish coaching, a slavishness, you know, to say we will always work hard, we'll always play possession football, we'll always hold possession, and more often than not, we'll be successful.
Well, we will against the Dragons and the Scarlets when no one's watching in the URC, but when it comes to knockout rugby, it's like everyone else has worked out that less possession, better kicking, disciplined defence, you know, a good line-out and a good scrum is generally enough
And we keep doggedly going out and trying harder and we don't need to.
We've actually got the raw materials and we just need to think better.
