And it's finally showing some action.

Headline 2 reads, John Bolton agrees to guilty plea to felony mishandling classified docs.

So this, I mean, it's actually shocking to see.

The dude's like 77 years old.

So, like, I mean, I don't know how that's going to work out in there.

But, yeah, let's dive into this.

You got insufferable never-Trumper John Bolton has worked out a plea deal and will plead guilty to a single count of illegal retention of sensitive national security documents, reports CNN.

Bolton was originally charged with eight counts of transmission of national defense information and 10 counts of retention of national defense information.

A conviction on any of those counts would have meant serious jail time.

On this one count, although the penalty is up to five years, the deal apparently comes with Bolton agreeing to plead guilty and pay a fine of $2.25 million without jail time.

However, a judge could still sentence the 77-year-old to prison regardless of the plea deal.

Now, I have a quick question.

You've been working in the government for probably, you know, 100 years.

I'm probably about to answer my question.

How in the fuck would you have $2.25 million to pay that fine?

Like, how does that make sense?
