I I think that there is a proud or sometimes shameful history of people getting up on stage with a trophy in their hand and talking about how what they do matters and a bunch of people in America being like, excuse me, eggs cost thirty-five dollars. matched

But I the way that he said it at the moment that he said it about w why what they do matters more than ever, uh resonated with me. matched

I thought it was really nice and it felt like a genuine warmth in the room. matched

I have no idea, but I do wonder if some of that warmth was a trickle down effect from having a host who was just happy to be there. matched

I would say that like the Dolly Parton one was where they lost me slightly, not because I don't revere Dolly Parton, but because T V star is not the first thing I think of. matched

Um what I what I found really actually impressive was the way they structured the in memoriam segment. matched

If you are someone who produces in memoriam segments for award shows, you're eating good for the next couple of years. matched

I'm sad to say. matched

Like we are we're just on like on a an on a hideous and mournful run right now, particularly for TV, as we saw last night. matched

But I what I appreciated about the show was like they did a bunch of things at the top that surprised me, like big actor awards at the beginning. matched
