My understanding of parenting in the first 12 years of being a parent turned out to be really woefully incomplete of my understanding of parenting as a single parent of the last 10 years.

That we could be designing help for parenting that's sort of, it would be a shame to replace those, those tactical, you know, day to day interactions.

sort of get permission for a deeper level of connection that I had with my kids.

And so if I were able to outsource some of the more pedestrian aspects of parenting, I don't think I would have received this sort of the prize of parenting, which is really a sort of a connection on a neurological level with my kids.
