And that's why I don't think it's manned craft.
I don't think you've got sentient NHI beings kicking about in the atmosphere, waiting on someone, flicking a switch and going, oh, right, okay, there's someone down in Essex, UK, looking for us, let's head on over.
Oh, wait, now Clint, he's done it.
There's someone in Missouri's done it.
Oh, there's someone in Mexico's done it.
You don't have an abundance of entities up there waiting to come down and speak to us.
So for me, it would have to be something abundant, lots of them, small...
portable and readily available.
That's the Sphere Network.
Patrick Jackson, you just had him on, right?
Yeah, the Sphere Network idea.
I really like this because Beatrice and her team have kind of... Beatrice Biotto and...
Eamon Ansborough and his group have kind of postulated that there's some kind of automated surveillance network that's sort of longstanding, been in place for thousands of years possibly.
Maybe that's what they're interacting with.
And if you knew that there was basically an automated system
that on demand would just fart out an egg craft and send it down if you give it the right signal and it'll just do that every time yeah i could see a bunch of people trying to figure out how to do that how to spoof that system and then i could see people within the intelligence community going like you said that no or at least know the right people to ask to get the real information on is it possible can we do it what tech do we need what's the tech tree look like
Imagine it was really weird, though, where the planet itself has an organic defense system similar to antibodies, and someone's worked out how to activate these things and bring them down.
So they're not alien craft at all, but it's something more natural that we don't understand.
That would be weird.
Isn't the largest single organism on Earth a fungus?
