Because when you're a little kid, you don't... You know, I didn't have dreams of playing with Liverpool.
It was never something I... But what I did have dreams of was playing with Scotland because you never know what way your career is going to go and...
you wouldn't have dreams of playing with certain clubs you played with but it's just then the career goes but the one thing we have is we wanted to play for our country but then to captain your country is just a whole new level and the fact I've been able to do it in a pretty special time and a special era makes it even more special and the summer will be good.
I know you've been a big supporter of it, which is always appreciated.
You've done a lovely message for our dinner in the summer.
But yeah, it's going great.
You know, obviously we're just trying to build it more and more and more.
And, you know, it's not always easy at times in terms of...
you know always trying to get coaches and things like that to do it but it's it's been great and it's been something that's been you know also what we spoke about earlier to take your mind off football and things it's been great for me and my wife to kind of you know at times you know take take everything back and go back right okay what do we want to do what you know what kind of difference do we want to try and make and we've helped a lot of people and we're very proud of that and
We want to keep building it.
We want to keep getting better and better at it and taking it even up and down the country even more and concentrating more on the free football coaching and things.
Because I do believe, you know, I think we all believe the gap's getting a bit bigger in terms of football coaching and things, and that can become really expensive now.
And, you know, people that are from less fortunate areas shouldn't miss out on the chance to have these.
So that's what we kind of looked at over COVID.
We used COVID to kind of, you know, really put our values down on a piece of paper and kind of try and follow it.
So...
It's been a great journey for us and one that, like I said, I've really enjoyed and still enjoying it and hopefully we can just keep building it and hopefully we can get even more kids on the grass.
