Billy McNeil, the manager, Graeme Souness was the manager for Rangers.

Graeme had been sent off that day and they were exchanging a few verbos just going up the tunnel and Billy talking about how embarrassed he would have been carrying a team like Rangers.

And Graeme coming back with a, yeah, well, I'd be embarrassed getting a couple of teams relegated from the First Division in England, referencing

you know, Billy managing Man City and Villa.

But it's a fabulous occasion.

I'm born and bred in Glasgow.

I was brought up in these games, so to take part in it was a bit special.

Yeah, I think everyone says make sure you enjoy it, but sometimes it's difficult.

You're concentrating so much, you don't want to let your teammates down.

A lot of the first game that I experienced passed me by.

I don't remember a lot of it.

And thankfully, we got a win.

And we played Rangers four times that season.

We won three, we drew one.

I thought it was going to be like that all the time.

But Rangers eventually came good, of course, and went on a run of their own.

But, yeah, every occasion a bit special.

And it's more of a relief than anything else if you get a good result.

I think you can rely on the experienced players in the dressing room who've been over the course before.

I think they can help anyone who's not experienced it.
