Um, I've recently learned that it's not it could it can be like childhood trauma things that affect you in your life.
And then there's complex trauma.
And complex trauma is things that happen repeatedly over time.
It doesn't have to be from when you're a child, it can be when you're a young adult.
Yeah, or an adult or an older adult.
And so when you think about the toxic relationship that you have with alcohol.
And all of the broken promises and how you talk to yourself and all of the load of that.
That can be a complex trauma over time.
I for sure experience that with my relationship with alcohol among other types of complex trauma.
So the growth actually that you can experience by figuring this out and learning how to process that.
Doesn't come from the actual event.
It comes from
Processing the pain.
of the experience.
