I kind of, as I was going along with it, because Isabel sees it as a light inside her, and I was thinking, what does this actually represent to me as a writer?

You know, why am I writing about this?

And to me, it's representing something that you produce, but it's nothing.

And it's kind of anti-capitalist in that way.

You know, I just find, I mean, I saw this performance piece and I don't know the artist, but he kicked around a big block of ice all around a city until it melted and there was nothing there.

And, you know, this is similar.

It's like it's something but it's nothing and it means something.
