And I think I tried to shake it out of myself to problematic levels as years went by.

But I don't know.

I suppose I never felt quite ready.

So a lot of the

things that I had to do, that one has to do as a human, as a child.

I always felt like, I mean, the only way I can kind of relate it is like a bird being kind of chucked from the nest just a bit too early.

I always had the feeling that I wasn't quite prepared.

I wasn't quite, oh, I'm nearly there, but I'm not quite there.

And then off you go.

Yeah.

I remember my, so when my granny was still alive, my mum's mum.

we would go down, which again, I have like beautiful kind of broad memories of going to her house in Galway, like in the middle of nowhere.

And we would just kind of roam the fields.

It was very free.

And she was like a wonderful presence, I think, in my life, which again, I maybe realised too late.

She died when I was maybe eight.

And I remember like...

That adventure, but also having this feeling of it being quite scary going to bed without your parents.

And so I would style it out.

I was with my older sister and being told, like, let's say it's Wednesday, your parents are coming tomorrow.
