Okay.
I'm gonna start this item.
This is uh my item and uh
It's actually really easy for me to do this now because I take last year's letter and the year's before letter and I kind of say, Okay, how could I m put these all together and make it sound it's changed the date on the top and 'cause everything in the in the body of it stays the same.
This is uh I have the privilege of doing evaluation for our county attorney and our executive director and
It it really is a privilege and the thing is I try to get it down to a page and a half as opposed to five or six 'cause we can go on with the superlatives.
I know you've all had a chance to read this, but what I'm gonna do for the record, I'm just gonna read why we do it in the first paragraph, then I'm gonna read the conclusion if that's okay with you all.
So we're going to start on item R two is the val annual evaluation for Planning Council attorney.
Pursuant to a letter of understanding dated august thirty first, nineteen ninety five, and reaffirmed through subsequent planning council action.
The Broward County Planning Council conducts an annual review of its legal counsel.
As chair of the Broward County Planning Council, I have prepared this memorandum to summarize Mr Andrew Morotis' performance over the past year and to evaluate his continued service as Planning Council Attorney.
So now we're going to skip ahead to the conclusion, which is on the second page.
Mr.
Morotis's performance during the past year continues to warrant the highest level of recognition.
He has provided steady and effective legal counsel on significant policy and regulatory matters, supported the council through complex proceedings, and ensured that its work remains grounded in sound legal analysis and professional integrity.
Although Mr.
Morodis meets the requirements for a merit based compensation increase, he has again declined an adjustment.
His decision reflects his longstanding commitment to the planning council and more than three decades of dedicated service.
In light of his continued exemplary service, I recommend that this evaluation be entered into the official record and that the Planning Council reaffirm its confidence in mister Moroda's continued service as planning council attorney.
His professionalism, integrity, and effectiveness continue to serve the Broward County Planning Council well.
