Yeah, for sure.
So I actually started out as a community organizer before I became a union organizer.
However, my mom was a is a union member of CWA thirty one oh six and so union blood is in my veins.
And I would tell folks that organized people beats organized money or big money each and every day of the week.
And it is important to go out and talk to people and have conversations.
There is no
Amount of money that can be spent on like commercials that would actually just outdo what it's like to talk to people face to face.
And so you're able to dispel that disinformation and rumors that people may be saying and spreading if you go and meet with them one-on-one.
And that's what me and my campaign team of which was
Comprised of a lot of volunteers, actually did across the state of Florida.
And it's also important to highlight that I have been an organizer in the state of Florida for nearly two decades, and I built a huge coalition of people all across the state.
I was a statewide organizer, a statewide field director for SCIU when we actually passed the $15 minimum wage and put that.
I was also an organizer when we did amendment four, which was automatic rights restoration.
And so I have been rooted in community throughout the state fighting for issues of working families all across the state for nearly two decades.
So I didn't just come out of nowhere overnight, which I believe a lot of people think is the case.
No, I have been doing
Doing the work here in the state.
So my strategy is the same that I've always implemented is going out and having conversations with people.
Even if they are uncomfortable, I I appreciate uncomfortable conversations because that's what helps us lead towards progress.
