And I ran away.

So that's how I ended up sleeping in a car, you know, out on the street for a few weeks.

And then I knew something had to change, you know.

So I started Googling places.

I was too far along to go into detox without detoxing.

Risk of losing my son.

And then I was too far along to go into a treatment.

Right.

And nobody else would take me.

So then I found Harvest Home.

I called them.

I did the interview.

And then I was really hoping that, you know, they would call me back and they called me back the next day with an in-person interview.

And then they interviewed me in person.

And the person that interviewed me, it was such like a spiritual thing.

Like every time I talk about it, I always cry.

because I remember being so desperate for help and, um, so desperate for God, you know, and guidance that, um, I think it just put me exactly where I needed to be because she ended up just praying for me out of nowhere, you know?

And, um, I was so grateful for that.

Um,

because that kind of kickstarted a much deeper relationship that I have with my God, you know?
