You're going skeptic about Rida Badu directly.
I mean, I think I quite like him because he is a moaner, but he's consistent and he's saying he's watching his city being eaten away.
And he writes quite poetically about how awful things are.
And I put it to you, expert friend, Aidan, that if you have a man in charge, like Akhenaten, who doesn't care about his workers, who doesn't care about the people who are right around him, it isn't such a stretch.
to think he doesn't care about people who are further away.
I mean, he's not the most caring.
We've seen pharaohs, for example, in the past who have responded to famine in that area, who have said, okay, you're having a hard time.
I will send grain.
Egypt is the center for all of this.
But here you've got a man who's in charge who doesn't really seem to give much of a damn.
I have made no secret of the fact I don't like this pharaoh.
He's my least favourite pharaoh.
Yes, I know.
But, you know, I don't know whether it's such a stretch, Aidan, to think that a man who didn't care about his workers.
But loved his wife.
God, but he didn't care about anyone other than his immediate family.
I mean, you know, it's Trumpian in many ways.
But, you know, people are starving in his kingdom.
There's plague.
He's not really doing very much.
