So when I looked in the mirror, I was horrified because that wasn't

Yeah, the image.

And so I literally had to find myself and I just looked in my eyes and it was like, there you are.

That's, you know, and I started to cry.

I actually started to cry because what I felt inside was, oh my gosh, I did this to me.

Oh, wow.

Through self-loathing.

Yeah.

And through repressing myself.

And I looked at myself and in my eyes and I said, oh my gosh, I will never do this to you again.

Even if other people let you down, even if other people are not happy with you or disapprove of you, I will never disapprove of me.

So I made that promise.

And so what I would suggest to people

is look in a mirror, look into your eyes, and make a promise to yourself that you'll never let yourself down, even if other people are let down.

Because that's what we feared, other people's disapproval.

And other people's disapproval is what we allow to determine our behavior.

And that's how we lose ourselves, because everything we do is to win approval.

So look in your eyes and say, I will never let you down.

Even if somebody else disapproves of me, I will still say, it's okay, they'll get over it, but I still love me.

I know it's interesting.
