But so he's just the worst.
He has a string of mistresses, all of whom he abandons horribly.
He actually, crucially, he fell in love with this Catholic widow named Maria Fitzherbert.
And actually, they kind of got married.

Well, because she's a Catholic and the heir to the throne is not allowed to marry a Catholic.
So he if he was going to marry her, he'd have to get permission from the king and all these dispensations.
And he just didn't do any of that.
