So there is my assessment.
Assessment that I made of this woman when I was six years old.
At six, I I decided she was a bad person who was really mean.
But the interesting thing is, I kept that assessment throughout my adult life so that when people would tell their bad nun stories, I would always be like, ugh.
You should have met this nun that I had when I was a kid.
She kept me in from research, research, recess every day, and probably research.
And then when I was 39
She called me out of the blue and she was working at a St.
Vincent de Paul's school downtown and she said, we've got nothing.
We don't have paper, we don't have scissors, we don't have glue sticks.
It was just a super poor school.
She said, We need money.
I have been following your career.
I know you have money.
I want you to give me some money so that we can buy school supplies.
And I said, Sure.
And this happened a couple of times.
And then I said, listen, let's get together.
And she was living in a condo at the time with some other nuns who were still teaching because the rest of them had all been shipped off to the old nuns' home.
And when I got there she was standing out in the parking lot.
