I need to get moving.
So when we got to the hospital, the first thing they did was cut my very favourite jacket off of my body, which I pleaded with them not to.
So I was...
I was very obstinate.
And so they had me in a neck brace and they were asking me all these questions and I kept nodding or shaking my head and I'll play, please stop nodding and shaking your head.
Just say yes or no.
The confusion and the kind of frustration of like people making a big deal out of nothing was like the dominating thing that was going on for me.
I was like, let me go.
I just need to move.
We went in for scans and I remember going into like an MRI scan for the first time in my life, that big donut, and I was scared of going in there.
And I also obviously found out I was allergic to morphine.
So they were like pumping me full of pain medication to which I then had a very big reaction to.
So then I had to have my stomach pumped from that to stop me from having a reaction and
And then I think I eventually fell asleep in the scan and got taken up to one of the wards later that night.
And that's kind of how the hospital stay started.
No, so I didn't see my sister for a few weeks, actually.
So we were, she was on a completely different ward.
I was in the heart area and she was in the, like the...
orthopedics area for spinal injuries.
So I didn't really know what was going on with her.
