So my pet peeve is people that linger when it's time to say goodbye.
For example, when you're trying to wrap up a phone call and they say, oh, I better get on to dinner and end up rattling on about the fucking sausages they're having.
I don't care.
Or when it's time to leave someone's house after a meal or gathering and they all linger by the front door talking absolute shit for about 30 minutes before finally leaving.
It does my head in.
Just say goodbye then leave.
There's absolutely no need to linger.
