I'm sitting here with your daughter now.
And it was just gobsmacking.
And I kind of jumped on and went, because there were so many questions.
Like, firstly, how was a woman in Canada?
How was a Canadian woman in chat 10?
And then also how on earth did the other woman, was she so rapidly with this one's daughter?
And what had happened was the woman in the Royal Brisbane Hospital had been with her daughter who was having some kind of issue.
And because you sit, you know, for ages waiting to be seen, she had jumped in the Chat 10 Facebook group, which she hadn't been in for ages.
And she saw this post by this Canadian woman.
And she thought just a few minutes earlier she'd heard the girl in the row in front of her speak and she had a Canadian accent and she was saying she thought she might have appendicitis, which was what the mother had said in the post.
And so she just leaned forward, showed her the phone and said, excuse me, is this your mother?
And the girl said...
Yes.
And so then the mum who was in the hospital just kept an eye on both of them and everyone worked out fine.
And then the Canadian woman just said, I said, how are you with chatter?
And she said, I just, you know, someone that I knew, an Australian, kind of put me onto it and I listened to the pod, but I'm not that active in the group and I was just desperate and thought I'd jump in.
So that's kind of a big one, which is amazing.
But then...
Some of the ones, you know, there's very incredibly touching ones like Kate McMahon wrote that she had an autistic nephew who would only use one kind of toothpaste and that kind of toothpaste was discontinued.
