I had a tiny bit to do with Sam.
I met him because just this is going to sound like the biggest clang ever, but I happened to find myself.
I happened to find myself sitting next to him at Bob Hawke's memorial.
Anyway, we had a very nice chat, but then obviously he's been on Australian Story, which if anyone wants to see it, we ran a repeat of it on Monday night this week, so you can go and have a look at that on iview.
Yeah, I'm so glad that you did that.
We did, and I'll tell you some funny stuff about the scramble in a minute.
And then he also did The Assembly.
He was in Season 1 of The Assembly.
Yeah, that was really, that's also an eye view.
They were both wonderful insights into him and his life and his backstory and all the rest of it.
But I mean, what an incredible career in terms of just the sheer breadth of it and his versatility and also to be in demand.
Absolutely universally for really big projects, both film and television.
So he's in the UK one minute doing Peaky Blinders.
He's in the US the next minute with Annette Bening doing Apple's Never Fall.
He's out here in Australia doing The Twelve.
just absolutely in peak demand for, you know, 50 years.
Yeah, I loved that too.
I think he had a very unique quality, which is –
Sometimes people feel like someone you could have, you know, a drink with or a chat with and then that sort of takes away a bit from their star quality or they're on their social media all the time and so they demystify themselves so they don't feel like a star.
