And I will say I listened to the whole interview because I was really fascinated.
This is what we should be doing.
Yeah.
Well, I'm going to play a snippet so you can kind of get a feel for it.
That's where The White Lotus comment came from.
You know, I find it interesting for a few reasons, though, because obviously I agree with what she's saying to an extent that we need to be able to talk across the aisle and we don't want to stonewall conversations, etc.
But it's also not enough information, even listening to the whole thing.
to really know what she's talking about like she's saying her husband's progressive but by what definition without actually giving anything tangible like you say you're an independent but that your husband thinks you're republican and you're saying you disagree with things but you're not saying what you disagree with she won't actually name her views yes i understand that there are going to be a lot of people listening who probably just agree with what we're saying because a lot of our listeners are progressive right and there are a lot of listeners who probably disagree with a
Yes.
Like that's not centrist.
I think there's a really honest or not honest, I don't know, like cognitive disconnect, because one of the most fascinating parts of this that I was not expecting to talk about in this, but I have to, is
is the guy they were interviewing, defense tech guy, big name in that space, he was talking about how he is Christian and his faith is a really big part of what guides his life, right?
And he touched on the fact that the Pope recently has come out, we spoke about on the podcast, spoken about AI and his fears around AI.
The Pope said, God does not hear the prayers of those waging war.
And so this guy on the podcast said that like jolted him at first that the Pope would say that because obviously that feels like a direct attack on someone whose whole thing is building defense for and war and what the state is doing is using that tech to wage wars.
Right.
Gwyneth kind of comes in and says like, well, you know, I'm just sort of thinking out loud here.
Maybe he means that in more of a mystical approach.
You're like, maybe he's not really referring to an actual war.
And then he sort of goes on to say, well, you know, I just think like, I think I know what the Pope actually meant.
