Put it on and off the tap and you have hot and cold water.
And that costs money and somebody has to pay for that.
There was a woman on the radio this morning on RTE.
She talked about hosing your lawn.
She said, hosing your lawn is not good for the grass.
Did you ever know that?
I didn't.
You're better off with a spout because the grass doesn't need a hose.
Some plants, yes, but the grass doesn't need it.
And people are hosing, hosing, hosing, hosing and wasting water.
She said, your grass is much better in Ireland where it's moist without a hose.
I never knew that.
