belongs in there i think you need to think carefully i mean if if you're quite young and you feel like you have a very long time horizon and you're pretty educated about bitcoin and you're pretty convinced that there's a compelling case to be made that it's going to be a technology that's going to not only withstand the test of time but be something that's going to thrive in the future then you know you might want to have some exposure to it and you know just given how speculative it is at this point um experts generally recommend something on the order of like matched

1% to 5% is being sort of a typical allocation. matched

You know, but if you're close to retirement, having something that volatile in your portfolio might be something you'll really regret because you could easily find that that 5% investment just kind of gets reduced dramatically overnight. matched

They're pretty negative on it. matched

They say they have continued to have serious concerns, grave concerns, in fact, about what Fidelity has done. matched

So the department is concerned about the volatility of cryptocurrency. matched

They're concerned about some other issues, too, including the fact that the regulatory framework for the cryptocurrency market is something that's matched

sort of being developed and so there are a lot of questions out there you know including pertaining to say the taxation of cryptocurrency and they they feel it's premature to be adding it as a 401k option at this point and what do fidelity's rivals in the 401k space say about this matched

Some of them even say they're just not hearing anything from employers in terms of employers asking for this to be an option. matched

So they say they're not seeing the demand and they also just have no interest in offering it. matched
