It was domestic violence.

It was targeted and it just escalated to the worst possible outcome.

And there were previous incidents, it sounds like, and that the family was somewhat aware of this.

And in this case, this poor woman went to sleep and just never woke up because she was shot to death in her own home.

And obviously that's something that should never happen.

Not to mention that this creep enlisted the help of his nephew to cover up this horrific crime, be a witness to all of this and drag him involved, scare him, threaten him, and even go as far as to say, I killed someone else and admit that to him and then threaten him that he wants to do it again.

I mean...

Who does that?

So again, a betrayal of a family member that I'm sure this nephew trusted.

It's just awful.

He sounds like the worst uncle alive, obviously.

But yeah, I'm glad that the friend of the nephew had the wherewithal to go to the police and say something because who knows what would have happened.

And getting rid of somebody in a barrel...

That's not the most obvious thing.

I mean, obviously a barrel is big, but, like, people, if they see a barrel on the side of the street, don't always think to, like, go into it.

I don't know.

It's, like, it's not, like, just dumping a body in the woods.

Right.

And so, I mean, good on that friend for going to the police and then good on the nephew for immediately confessing and saying, well, yeah, my uncle was threatening me and saying he wanted to kill someone else, like, and he would – that would be me if I didn't help him, you know?
