Wow.
Well, nuclear threats, to my eye, are profoundly dangerous.
I've looked at this since the book Nuclear War Scenario first published, and Putin was threatening the use of nuclear weapons, which is extremely dangerous.
But we must be factual here.
The current president, in his first administration, sort of set the bar by essentially rhetorically threatening nuclear war with North Korea.
And we all remember that exchange from the first Trump administration.
So
I believe that threats are extremely dangerous.
And this is because I know from looking at Pentagon war games involving nuclear war that everybody in the Defense Department knows that nuclear war, no matter how it begins.
only ends in one way, and that is total apocalyptic annihilation.
Pressure, not panic.
