No, actually I think he's gonna start in Grand Rapids.

They uh it was apparent towards the end of last season that

Uh he just needed a lot of development uh defensively.

He needed to improve in that area.

It got so bad that uh at one scratch uh Todd McClellan

Couldn't play him late in games.

Of course, games.

uh in the third period, uh and uh uh you know, especially the the latter half of the third period and uh shortened the bench to five D.

uh because he was just making too many mistakes.

Uh he's a guy that uh uh you know, he'll s uh barring uh a a couple of injuries or something uh unexpected happening, uh he w he'll start in the Grand Rapids.

uh play uh you know uh a a major role there.

And then uh we'll see if he improves defensively 'cause like you said, he's got the offensive uh

the abilities, the skills uh that are that

prompted the Wings to draft him seventeenth overall.

Mm-hmm.

Um but their their defense is uh

The defense is set.

Uh they'll they'll have Justin Falk and uh Ben Sherrat, the veteran second bearing.
