What I've been watching for a few years, James, that's Ramsey Healthcare.
Great business, essential service.
I mean, it can be a bit cyclical with negotiations with the health insurers.
It was COVID impacted, all that.
But it had private equity on its tail a few years ago, James, and it the deal fell over and there's been heaps of shareholder unrest since then.
But the core problem for Ramsey is it went offshore twenty years ago.
It tried to replicate its success here in Australia, but it's just never made the returns it can and does uh in other markets.
So
You know, in Australia it's it's done so well just doing like knee and hip replacements, heart stents, colonoscopies, all that.
It's tried and tested here, but it tried to do that in Asia, Europe, UK.
I mean, noble in a way that it wants to make us an Australian champion, but you could look at it as a giant misuse of shareholders' funds or misallocation of capital.
Oh yeah.
So it's been slowly turning the Titanic around.
The new CEO, Natalie Davis.
I mean, she's not slashing and burning, but they are out of age
They're spinning in the big European business, Ramsey Sante, they're staking that off to their existing shareholders.
They've slowed down capital anywhere in the world other than Australia and really just focusing on getting that Australian business singing.
Yep.
So the return on capital employed in that Australian business, 17.4% in FY twenty six, solid number up from sixteen and a half percent last year, admissions up three point three percent in the year.
