But then you'd walk away and feel good about it.

Well, yeah, because you watched fucking 140 games from the bench.
I always called myself on the team.
Everybody's like, what?
I was like, you're the backup character.
I was like, actually, I was just the best cheerleader on the team.
I sat there and just clapped and watched Miggy, you know, caught Lester every once in a while.
I like to say babysit, you know, babysit Lester for seven innings.
And if he stunk, they took me out of the game, too.
I'm like, wait a minute.
I want my at-bats, you know?
It's not my fault.
But that culture that was created and those expectations is, I think, what made us all good.
Everybody was trying to lift each other up and play for one another, and those are the best teams I've been on to.
The bullpen is the most important.
Starting pitching, bullpen, right?
