So what happens is you get escorted over with two police officers.
Then you get handed over to the police at the airport and then they check the bail.
You've now got bail conditions.
And then effectively after your bail conditions and probation was all set up through corrections, they will put you into a motel as they did me.
This is how mine worked.
And then I still had probation that I need to report to one that was close to my bail address, which was my mum's place.
So it was close to her place.
But as far as support goes,
I wouldn't say all that much.
They were gracious enough to hand me over and they came and checked once or twice and that was it.
You know, I can imagine being by myself.
And I didn't really understand the value of family and connection and accountability, love.
Because that's going to be the fertile soil for you to grow those new pathways.
Had I gone back to a little room, that little itch in my mind to feel complete again, that little itch, that little bit to cloud my mind, it'll start with drinking and things like that.
So it's really important to find community, find connection with faith, spiritual connection.
You know, it's so easy to say, well, you go volunteer or something like that.
If that's your gig, yes.
You know, many people said for me to volunteer.
