So, yeah, a big night for the All Blacks.
That will be celebrated.
Yeah.
In that first half, I think credit to the Italians, they took it to us physically, especially at the defensive break.
They were putting in their shoulders and then getting a man over the ball each time.
keeping our cleaners and our ball carrier honest and we addressed that at half time saying that yeah our cleaners have to be in there earlier and with more physicality and I think yeah in that purple patch as you called it in the second half that's exactly the changes that we've made is we got more brutal with our carrier cleans and yeah we managed to see the rewards of that.
It was everything and a whole lot more.
At the moment, the constant picture that flows through my mind is when I was looking up at the stands singing the anthem and then going into the haka as well, because I remember watching exactly that part of the game, countlessly, when I was back in Germany.
And then, as I said, once you go out there to play,
all of that sort of fades and you're just focused on the task at hand.
So, yeah, but that's a memory that I'll cherish forever.
No doubt about it.
