I think I heard a story, actually.
I can't remember who told me.
might have been Greg Fee because he was in the Crusaders or in the All Blacks the same time that he was there and out of nowhere he was actually made the line-out caller in number eight and again he just embraced that challenge and made it his and excelled at that too I think.
Yeah, it was interesting.
I wear the number seven on my back, but my role, apart from what side of the scrum I'm on, doesn't really change because I'm still in the lineup and I still do everything that traditionally a six would do, I guess.
But yeah, there's aspects of all three or both of those positions that I like.
I definitely enjoy seven because you're a bit quicker to the first breakdown and you can have a look at that a bit more.
And obviously the defensive aspect that you get at it, you're involved more.
around the collision more which i enjoy but then yeah as a traditional six you're obviously involved with the line out and and the set piece more and yeah i've over the last few years i've i really enjoyed that part of the game too so yeah i enjoy all three and then at number eight when when there is opportunity to play number eight i enjoy the ball carrying aspect of that too so yeah there's little bits of everything that i like but i think if i had to pick one uh seven yeah seven's pretty fun

I mean, we're hybrids.

That's for sure.
And yeah, we're one of those positions that have to be able to do everything.
I mean, we have to tackle, we have to run, we have to be good at set piece.
We have to be able to pass the ball and have all those skillsets.
So it's definitely challenging and we have to work hard on top of it.
I mean, everyone's supposed to work hard, but I think as Lucy's, the running meters combined with the collisions that you're involved in, I think is right up there.
It's funny because he was my first ever mate when I first came to New Zealand.
