Well, he was a big boy, so I mean, he probably would have dealt to me.

and he probably had dad strength.

But if it was a one-on-one, yeah, I mean, give it a crack, but I don't know how good I would have gone.

Something about dad strength, they can just, they would have just, yeah.

But no, I don't know.

Luckily I didn't get to that.

Yeah, so yeah, I was lucky enough to get a scholarship to Lincoln Uni, because I didn't really know what I wanted to do after school.

But then, yeah, I applied for that rugby scholarship that they have out there and was lucky enough to get that.

So it kind of made the decision for me.

Yeah.

So I think kind of year 13, I was, uh, yeah, kind of during that year, you always have those ambitions and then, uh, well, but coming out of Lincoln, we had,

Tom Sanders and Mitch Duncher, who are both a couple of years older than me.

And so seeing them kind of crack it or how their early careers and seeing that you can do it from kind of no matter what school you come from was like a bit of inspiration and also just know that you can do it as well and give you that belief there.

So that year 13 just, yeah, obviously tried to play good footy and then

Yeah, Aaron Webb was the academy manager and he must have done all that scholarship.

He helped us out with all that scholarship.

So he gave me one of those scholarships, which was pretty cool.

And then, yeah, played...
