We just try to focus on ourselves and stuff.
But the French crowd are brilliant in fairness and they always make a fantastic occasion for us to play in.
I think just when you play any of the top tier nations, it just comes down to fine margins and
um like if you take the game today like we we needed scores in the first half we were camped in there 22 and we just didn't get it um but yeah i think there's positives to take but uh i think in terms of how we get a performance it's how many of like i suppose we always say you're not going to win every moment but it's the moments you can win just take a full advantage of them and whoever can move on quickly and build on that momentum it's
Do you feel like if you had that game back you could have got over the line?
Yeah, we needed to convert a score in the first half, I'd say.
When it was 7-7 at half-time, it would have been 12 or 14-7 going in.
It's a bit of a different story.
Full credit to France, though.
They came out in the second half as we knew they would.
They really just got their big runners up and going.
It was just hard to stop.
Is that the kind of mood in the dressing room?
Yeah, definitely.
We're in a position now where we just want to keep pushing on and we keep putting in better and better performances against these Tier 1 nations and we know eventually if we just keep knocking on the door, eventually we'll get our foot into it.
We just have to keep going and, as I said, learn fast from this because, you know, it's just the nature.
We can't really afford to just sit back and feel sorry for ourselves.
There's positives to take out there.
Like, if you look at us in France two years ago, it was a very different story.
But, yeah, we just, as I said, we won't sit around and feel sorry for ourselves.
