I just was curious because now we're going back to more traditional.
It's a hybrid of the modern and the past.
But Ryan Howard, crazy thing about him.
There's the old kind of folklore that if you go in the derby, you might mess up your swing for the second half.
Ryan Howard won the derby, and then he went on to hit 28 homers in 54 games the rest of the way.
So I just wanted his opinion on that.
Obviously, yeah, I think he's a guy that doesn't think it's going to mess him up too much.
But he brought up a great point.
I wasn't pulling the ball enough.
And the Derby really helped me focus on pulling the ball.
And I went crazy the rest of the way.
So I was curious his thoughts on that.
We talked a little bit about that.
Also, his thoughts on some of the players and how they're standing out this year, the Phillies and what they need to make the World Series or make a run and win it all.
And but most importantly, I wanted his thoughts on the Derby as we have that, you know, going tonight and his guys Schwarber and Harper and, you know, what they need to do to win it with this semi hybrid back to the old format where you got a little bit more time on your side, but you better perfect that swing.
He is so much fun and also such a nice guy.
I grew up a Marlins fan, of course, the South Florida tie.
He tormented my childhood.
The year he hit 50-plus, it felt like 40 of them came in the football stadium there, pro player Joe Robbie, whatever you want to call it.
It was one of the more impressive peaks that we've seen from him.
