I agree that those are the three options.
I would say that Sosa probably has the best odds of remaining on the roster because he does not have a minor league option remaining and he's not the type of guy who's going to get through waivers.
And the Blue Jays just need as much thump available to them as possible.
And he has multi-positional versatility there.
and makes a ton of contact.
So I think that Sosa is like 95% safe in this conversation.
Could be something surprising to come, but I doubt it.
I think it's going to be either Davis Schneider or Johendrik Pignongo.
And like you said, Pignongo has been really impressive from a bat speed standpoint to an exit velocity standpoint to a sheer results standpoint, even a defensive standpoint, which like a guy who did not have rave reviews defensively
uh internally or externally coming up through the blue jays system so it's actually been pretty impressive to see him holding his own defensively and making some plays out there he looks confident um on both sides of the ball and he looks like a guy who's doing everything that a coaching staff would want him to do like he doesn't look scared he's getting his a swing off he's being aggressive he's bringing a different dynamic to the lineup like you said he's hitting lead off he's doing a lot of things for this team right now
And this is a team that doesn't really have the luxury of coughing up too many more games here.
Like they need to turn things around and they need as much energy as they can get in their lineup.
And you're getting a lot of that from Pinyongo.
So I tend to think that he's going to be safe.
And that leaves one name, Davis Schneider.
Yeah, I bet you that the Blue Jays project Davis Schneider as like a 105 to 110 way it runs created plus hitter like the rest of the way.
And that's just based off of what he's been throughout his major league career.
I'm not sure what they would project Yo Hendrick Pignongo as.
And we just haven't seen enough of him at the big league level to even feel really confident in a projection.
